A Little Bit About Us

Founded in 2008, Ridgefield Prime is an old fashioned gourmet butcher and seafood shop.  We're owned and operated by Ridgefield locals.  We have no board of directors and we're not listed on NASDAQ (thankfully!!).  We're a couple of guys focused on getting down to the meat and fish markets, picking the best that's available, then selling it fresh and at a fair price.  We are also serving up tasty prepared meals-to-go for busy families.  Incredible catering too.  

Our Manger and Head Butcher is Phil.  He has been serving customers and sharing his extensive butchering and cooking knowledge for many years.  Phil was with Hay Day and Balducci's in Ridgefield for over 10 years.  He is a Culinary Institute graduate and recently a first time cookbook author.  Phil values the special relationship he has with his customers. 

In our kitchen our Chef's create fresh meals-to-go, delicious side dishes and our catering.
